Queens, NY, November 21, 2011 – On Saturday, November 19, NYS Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr., sponsored No Cost Mammography Screenings at the American-Italian Cancer Foundation Van parked outside the Woodhaven Richmond Hill Volunteer Ambulance Corps, 78-15 Jamaica Avenue, Woodhaven.

Queens, NY, November 10, 2011 – In light of a recent monetary court decision against the City, NYS Senator Joseph Addabbo wants to build awareness to the problem of dangerous conditions on streets within our communities. Before more fatalities or life-altering injuries occur, the Senator urges City agencies to reconsider their procedures when monitoring unsafe conditions on local streets and intersections when such information and requests for road signs or traffic signals are forwarded by residents.

Addabbo, Jr. (D-Queens), a member of the Senate's Racing, Gaming & Wagering Committee, released the following statement reacting to Governor Cuomo's recent veto of bill S.4489 that passed the legislature in June, requiring the state to maintain the health insurance and supplemental benefits received by retirees of the New York City Off-Track Betting Corporation (NYC OTB).
