During today's legislative session (Wednesday, March 19, 2014) Senator Kathy Marchione spoke on the Senate floor in support of her Legislative Resolution observing March 21, 2014 as “Down Syndrome Awareness Day” in New York State.
During a press conference held in Albany today, Senator Kathy Marchione again stood with the public safety professionals of NYSCOPBA and continued her call to keep Mt. McGregor Correctional Facility open. Since July of 2013, Senator Marchione has publicly advocated for keeping Mt. McGregor open to ensure public safety and proect local jobs.
