This year’s Senate Veterans' Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Albany is planned for Tuesday, May 19, 2015, just before the Memorial Day weekend observances. Senator Marchione is accepting nominations for this year’s inductee until Friday, April 17, 2015.
I am pleased to announce the 2015 Golden Apple Teacher of Excellence Award. I will be recognizing some of our best teachers from across the 43rd Senate District, which includes Columbia County and portions of Rensselaer, Saratoga and Washington Counties.
Students, parents and educators are all invited to nominate a teacher for recognition this year. Nominees will receive a New York State Senate Teacher of Excellence Award certificate and be honored at a special recognition ceremony on Thursday, June 4, 2015.
