On Wednesday morning, March 13, 2013, Senator Kathleen Marchione attended and addressed the Mental Health Association in New York State (MHANYS) and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s (AFSP) annual legislative lobby day rally in Albany to support of the PFC Joseph Dwyer PTSD Peer-to-Peer Veterans Counseling Program that she has strongly advocated for.

Senator Kathy Marchione hosts successful community forum at Hudson Valley Community College on overcoming heroin abuse and addicition

Today’s (Wednesday, April 23, 2014) community forum at Hudson Valley Community College, hosted by Senator Kathy Marchione (pictured center), on preventing heroin and opioid addiction featured an expert panel and was well-attended with approximately 300 people filling the college’s Bulmer Telecommunications Center Auditorium and a nearby overflow room.
