The new facility more than doubles the hospital's original breast center and allows the hospital to expand its diagnostic services. Senator LaValle is committed to bringing advanced medical technologies to eastern Long Island so that residents will have access to state-of-the-art health care services close to home.

LaValle would like to remind the public that the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) now issues Enhanced Driver Licenses (EDLs) and Enhanced non-driver IDs, which meet identification and citizen requirements for travel to and from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, and the Caribbean.
