"I congratulate my colleague and friend upon his election as Bronx Borough President."
"Ruben is a bright and thoughtful leader, a persistent advocate for smart solutions in these difficult times. As Borough President he will serve those who need government the most, ensure access to critically needed services, and will continue the effort to improve the quality of life in all of the communities in the Bronx."
"We will miss Ruben in Albany, but I wish him the best in his continuing career of service to his constituents and his community."
Dear Friend: As your State Senator, I have been dealing with many issues in Albany, ranging from the state budget, to reforming the Rockefeller Drug Laws, to fighting to ensure programs and services in our district do not get cut.
