(NEW YORK)- New York State Senate President Pro Tempore Malcolm A. Smith will once again jump-start the holiday season by distributing over 150 turkeys to organizations and constituents throughout his district. This event has largely been successful in the past, and will prove to once again provide turkeys to families in need. The turkeys are being donated by Health Plus, a health care provider known for its community involvement in Southeast Queens and the real estate development company, Arverne By The Sea.
