BUFFALO NEWS: Primary focus must be the outer harbor, not Skyway

The debate over the Skyway has long been at the forefront of the Buffalo waterfront development discussion. With emerging projects like Canalside, HarborCenter and the Outer Harbor Concert series, the Skyway has become even more prominent in the development conversation.

The core of this conversation is twofold: the transportation it provides for commuters from the Southtowns, and development of the outer harbor, which remains one of the longest undeveloped waterfronts in the nation.

Construction To Begin On Sherwood Greenway Trail

project to construct the Sherwood Greenway Trail and make highway improvements
to NY Route 324 (Sheridan Drive) and NY Route 325 (Sheridan Drive Extension) in

Grisanti Announces $9.48 Million Investment For Projects On Elmwood Avenue and 198 In City Of Buffalo

     Senator Mark J. Grisanti. (R,I- Buffalo), announced today a $9.48 million investment for road and bridge projects for Elmwood Avenue and the 198 in the City of Buffalo. The investment will be funded through the New York Works State Highway and Bridge Project Acceleration Program. This project is a part of the $45.96 million that has been secured for Region 5.
