 NEW YORK, May 18, 2009 – PRcision, a full-service events, promotions and public relations firm, has partnered with Americana Luxury Vodka, and Brooklyn-based Lioni Heroes and John Della Pasqua/Red Wing Industries, to host an exclusive event on Friday, May 29th to raise money for the victims of the April 6th earthquake which occurred in the Abruzzo region of Italy.

Senator Golden Says “We Need Results – Not Talk on the Freedom Towers”

Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) has called on Governor Paterson and Speaker Silver to stop issuing press releases on the need to build the Freedom Towers and to actually start doing something. Senator Golden has urged the Governor and Speaker to obtain federal stimulus money earmarked for the building of the Freedom Towers, and to set a firm timeline for construction. The Freedom Towers would consist of three buildings totaling more than 7.5 million square feet.

Brooklyn- State Senator Marty Golden (R-C, Brooklyn) today announced a new program, City Solve, to be instituted in his district to address the community graffiti problem. Senator Golden was joined at the press conference by local leaders and merchants, along with the CitySolve graffiti cleaning vehicle, to officially introduce the program which he has funded entirely in the amount of $50,000 for the next year.

Move to Reform Rockefeller Drug Laws Will Hurt New York

DROPPING THE ROCK WILL CRUSH OUR COMMUNITIES

Members of the Urban Task Force and Senate Republican Conference today blasted an ill-advised and potentially dangerous attempt by the Assembly Democrats to weaken New York State’s anti drug laws. The Rockefeller Drug Laws, a series of stringent anti-drug measures passed in 1973 which were once considered among the most strongest in the nation, were dramatically reformed in 2004.

Senator Marty Golden Comes Out Against MTA Approval Of Budget

Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C, Brooklyn) is strongly criticizing the Metropolitan Transportation Authority board vote yesterday that will approve the proposed "doomsday budget." This budget would involve significant cuts to both local and express bus service in Senator Golden’s district, where he has spearheaded petition drives, and has made plans to meet with MTA officials to push for a reconsideration of these cuts.
