Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) recently hosted a senior breakfast meeting with seniors at the Vegas Diner. The meeting was a chance for Senator Golden to speak about issues facing the community and to address concerns.

BROOKLYN STREET, COLONIAL GARDENS, HAS BEEN FOUND

Brooklyn- The residents of Colonial Gardens gathered yesterday to thank Senator Golden for his efforts in having their street sign replaced after a number of years and numerous efforts, causing concern for all residents related to emergency service response and mail delivery.  Colonial Gardens is on Shore Road between 89th Street and 90th Street.The street sign was installed last week by the Department of Transportation following a request made to Senator Golden at his senior fair held at St.

SENATOR GOLDEN BLASTS GOVERNOR’S “MONEY FOR NOTHING” PLAN

 

Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) today blasted Governor Paterson’s "Back-to-School" program’s lack of transparency and accountability. The Governor’s plan would cost taxpayers approximately $140 million by providing $200 per child to all welfare and food stamp recipient whether they are complying with program requirements.

SAFETY ENHANCEMENTS AT BELT PARKWAY’S 4TH AVENUE ENTRANCE
