Senator Nozzolio recently participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony for DNT Express’ new warehouse in Clyde, New York. DNT Express started in 2003 as a wine delivery service with only three employees. DNT is now a growing and thriving business with more than thirty drivers in its fleet. Senator Nozzolio was instrumental in bringing DNT to the Town of Clyde and was honored to have the opportunity to join their opening ceremony.

Senator Mike Nozzolio recently met with representatives of the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital at Boller Point Vineyards in Sodus, NY. Senator Nozzlio had the opportunity to discuss the future of the Finger Lakes region with individuals who are on the frontline of both the healthcare and agriculture industries.

Senator Nozzolio recently attended the Rebuilding Buford benefit in Walworth. The benefit was to support Vaughn “Buford” Pembroke, who recently suffered a motorcycle accident in May. Buford spent his life giving back to the community, contributing to the Boy Scouts of America and the Lions Club, as a member of the West Walworth and Lincoln Fire Departments, and as a member of the Wayne County School Board. Senator Nozzolio was honored to be a part of Buford’s benefit.

Senator Nozzolio recently attended the Pickin’ in the Pasture Bluegrass Festival in Lodi. Every year, Pickin' In The Pasture hosts some of the finest professional bluegrass entertainment in the country. Senator Nozzolio had the opportunity to introduce the United States Navy Band, Country Current.

Newark- Senator Mike Nozzolio recently participated in the annual Newark Rose Parade. Senator Nozzolio had the opportunity to meet with members of the Newark Fire Department and to congratulate some of their youngest volunteers for their creative float on fire safety.
Newark- Senator Mike Nozzolio recently attended the American Legion Post #394 Riders of Williamson Poker Run benefit. All proceeds from the event went to benefit veterans and their families in Wayne County.
North Rose- Senator Mike Nozzolio recently spoke at and participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony at the Grand Opening for Thorpe Vineyards new satellite store. Senator Nozzolio sponsored legislation to extend the “Lake Ontario Wine Trail” in Wayne County, allowing more local wineries to showcase their products, grow their businesses and attract more tourists to our region.

Senator Mike Nozzolio recently honored fifteen authors on Author Recognition Day at the Sodus Library. Senator Nozzolio also presented a special New York State flag that was previously flown over the State Capitol in Albany to Carol Garland, Sodus Library Director.
Recently, I attended the Wayne County Fair, where I met with Fair Queen Katrina Fedczuk and her court, along with Fair Princess Alissa Frazer and her court. It was certainly a pleasure to be a part of this very special day and to be able to congratulate the Fair Royalty.
Port Byron - Senator Mike Nozzolio recently participated in the Port Byron Heritage Days Parade where he had the opportunity to meet with members of the Port Byron Fire Department.

Seneca Falls- Senator Mike Nozzolio recently attended the annual Seneca Falls Convention Days Classic Car Show. Senator Nozzolio greeted and congratulated winners from the car show in their respective award categories.

Geneva- Senator Mike Nozzolio recently hosted "Senator Mike Nozzolio Community Baseball Night" in Geneva where the Geneva Red Wings took on the Webster Yankees at McDonough Park. Senator Nozzolio sponsored a local food drive in conjunction with the game as a way to collect non-perishable food to support our local food banks.

Seneca Falls- Senator Mike Nozzolio recently paid special tribute to the men and women of the Seneca Falls police and fire departments. Senator Nozzolio recognized their valuable contribution to the community at the unveiling of the Public Safety Memorial.

Webster- Senator Mike Nozzolio recently met with members of the Webster Jamboree Troop 316 during "Senator Mike Nozzolio Community Baseball Night" at Webster's Yankee Stadium. Senator Nozzolio presented the scouts with a special New York State flag that had been flown over the State Capitol in Albany. The scouts will be attending a national scouting jamboree and will be taking the flag with them as a symbol of New York State.

Webster- Senator Mike Nozzolio recently had the opportunity to join members of the Webster community in participating in the annual Webster Fireman’s Parade. Senator Nozzolio is a long time supporter of the Webster Volunteer Fire Department as well as the Webster High School Marching Band, who also marched in the parade.

Geneva- Senator Mike Nozzolio recently thanked Karina VanHouten for her volunteer work as an Intern in his Seneca Falls District Office. Senator Nozzolio provides high school and college students with internship opportunities in both his District and Albany offices. Karina was the valedictorian of the Geneva High School Class of 2008 and currently attends Middlebury College in Vermont.
