Remembering The Life of Francis “Red” Pisciotti

Auburn- Senator Mike Nozzolio recently presented a special New York State Resolution that was adopted in the New York State Senate to Mary Ann Pisciotti in memory of her late husband, Francis “Red” Pisciotti. Red Pisciotti contributed to the welfare of his community as a Corrections Officer of 26 years and was actively involved in several civic and charitable endeavors.

Remembering The Life of Michael Lepak

I recently had the honor to present a special New York State Resolution that was adopted in the New York State Senate to Greg Lepak in memory of his late father, Michael Lepak. Mike Lepak was a member of the Cayuga County Legislature for over 34 years and dedicated his life to public service.

Newark Boys Basketball Team

Newark - Senator Mike Nozzolio recently presented members of the Newark Boys Basketball Team with special New York State Resolutions that were enacted in the New York State Senate to honor their accomplishments as New York State Class A Champions. Senator Nozzolio made the presentations at Javon McCrea's graduation party. Javon was selected All-Greater Rochester Player of the Year and received a full scholarship to the University of Buffalo. Palmyra- Senator Mike Nozzolio recently participated in the 13th annual American Cancer Society Relay for Life at the Wayne County Fairgrounds. Senator Nozzolio helped to cut the ribbon at the beginning of the survivor’s lap.

Celebrate Commemorate Memorial Day Ceremony

Waterloo- At the annual Celebrate Commemorate Ceremony, Senator Mike Nozzolio had the opportunity to meet Changhee Lee, senior Valedictorian at Waterloo High School and a trumpeter in the school band. Originally from South Korea, Changhee recently became a United States citizen. He played an amazing and heartfelt rendition of the National Anthem at the Waterloo Memorial Day service. Changhee will graduate in June and plans to attend the Eastman School of Music in the Fall.

Recognizing Our Active Armed Force Members And Veterans In The Healing Field Ceremony

Auburn - Senator Mike Nozzolio recently participated in the "Healing Field-Field of Hopes and Dreams" flag memorial ceremony at Hoopes Park in Auburn. Proceeds from the event will benefit St. Joseph's School in Auburn. Over 1,000 American Flags were flown to honor the memory of a fallen soldier or to recognize an individual currently serving in the United States Armed Forces.

Senator Nozzolio Honors Rick Connors as an Inductee into the New York State Senate Veterans Hall of Fame

Senator Nozzolio honored U.S. Navy, Naval Reserve and Army Reserve veteran Rick Connors of Seneca Falls for his distinguished military career, in which he served for 26 years and earned over 15 medals. Rick was inducted into the New York Senate Veterans Hall of Fame, a new website highlighting the service of a veteran from each Senate District, during a special ceremony at the State Capitol.
