Albany- State Senator Mike Nozzolio recently met with youth representatives from the Seneca County 4-H Clubs to discuss agricultural and community issues. The 4-H members, who were visiting Albany as part of the 2010 4-H Capital Days, also discussed the importance of keeping our New York State Parks open.
Senator Nozzolio recently met with librarians and library from across the Finger Lakes Region to discuss the importance of supporting public libraries and getting children involved in reading from a young age.
Senator Nozzolio recently hosted Webster Thomas Junior Courtney Neracker and her father Michel when Courtney visited Albany to spend a day with her State Senator. Courtney, who plans to study Political Science in college, got a firsthand look at the Legislative process as she watched Senator Nozzolio meet with constituents and sat in on a session of the New York State Senate.
Newark - Senator Mike Nozzolio recently had the opportunity to speak to the members of the Lake Ontario Chapter of Whitetails Unlimited and share his support for the hunting and sportsmen issues that are important to the group.
Great strides have been taken in transforming the former Sampson Naval and Air Force Training Center into a world class veterans cemetery. Senator Nozzolio reported that in addition to the clearing of the land to make way for the development of the site, the design and layout of the cemetery has been approved by the local cemetery board.
Palmyra - Senator Mike Nozzolio recently spoke to members of the Palmyra Heritage Baptist Church at their annual Sportsmen’s dinner. Senator Nozzolio spoke to the group about his efforts to protect their 2nd amendment rights.

Ontario - Senator Mike Nozzolio recently presented a New York State flag to a group of volunteers from North Ontario United Methodist church. The team will fly the flag in Slidell, Louisiana as they assist in the post hurricane rebuilding effort.

Newark - Senator Mike Nozzolio and Assemblyman Bob Oaks recently presented a special New York State Resolution honoring Undersheriff Doyle “Jay” Denosky upon the occasion of his retirement after 38 years of distinguished public service to the Wayne County Sheriff's office.

Port Byron - Senator Mike Nozzolio recently spoke about the importance of leadership and government service at the ceremony marking the return of President Abraham Lincoln's bible to the Port Byron community. The bible was given by Amos Scott King to President Abraham Lincoln in 1861 and is kept along with Amos Scott King's letter to President Lincoln at the Lincoln family home in Manchester, Vermont.
Geneva -Senator Mike Nozzolio recently met with staff and volunteers of the Catholic Charities of the Finger Lakes organization in Geneva to acknowledge the organization's strong dedication, commitment and service to those in need.

Newark - Senator Mike Nozzolio recently participated in the annual Newark Volunteer Fire Department dinner where he presented members of the Department with a special New York State flag. The flag was previously flown over the State Capitol in Albany and now will be flown over the Firefighter’s Memorial Park in Newark.

Rochester - Senator Nozzolio recently had the opportunity to meet with former world boxing legend Carmen Basilio. Basilio held four boxing world titles from 1955 through 1958, including both Welterweight and Middleweight World Championships.
Auburn - Senator Mike Nozzolio was recently presented with a United States flag flown over Camp Phoenix in Kabul, Afghanistan during "Operation Enduring Freedom". Nick Wiwsianyk of Auburn was stationed at the camp and dedicated the special flag to Senator Nozzolio.
Seneca Falls - Senator Mike Nozzolio was recently presented with a copy of the book “Pioneer and Patriot” which documents the life and military service of U.S. Naval Commander George Cook Sweet. Bob Meyer, Commander Sweet's nephew, presented the book to the Senator.
