Geneva – State Senator Mike Nozzolio recently joined representatives of the Finger Lakes Community College, the City of Geneva and Ontario County to announce the purchase of the former Geneva Middle School building that currently serves as the Community College's satellite campus in Geneva. Senator Nozzolio secured $6 million in New York State funding in last year's budget for the purchase and renovation of the Pulteney Street building.

New York State Senator Mike Nozzolio was recently sworn in to office by former Lt. Governor Mary Anne Krupsak. Senator Nozzolio was overwhelmingly re-elected in November with over 72% of the vote in his district. Senator Nozzolio thanked the approximately 350 people who attended the ceremony for their support and the honor to represent their needs as a member of the New York State Senate. Senator Nozzolio was sworn in using the same Bible that was used when Lt. Governor Krupsak took her oath of office in 1975.
Macedon-New York State Senator Mike Nozzolio recently joined members of the Girl Scout Troop 1410 to honor Sgt. Robert Reis III of Macedon. As a part of the Scout's service project, the troop "adopted" Sgt. Reis III to send messages, cards and remembrances throughout his tour of Iraq. Sgt. Webster- State Senator Mike Nozzolio recently visited students at the Webster Montessori School where he commended the class for their efforts to support our American troops serving overseas this holiday season. The students collected nearly 200 pounds of special holiday candy to be sent to the troops. Senator Nozzolio is assisting in the project by agreeing to mail the packages overseas.
