Senator Nozzolio Participates in Football Practice with the Auburn Maroons

Auburn – Senator Mike Nozzolio recently participated in the Auburn Maroons JV and Varsity football practice at Holland Stadium.  Senator Nozzolio, who has always been a strong supporter of athletic programs, shared with the students his belief about the strong character and leadership skills gained from team sports.

Senator Nozzolio and the Red Cross of Wayne County Salute Military Families

Palmyra- Senator Mike Nozzolio recently spoke before members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6778 in Palmyra.  The event was sponsored by the Wayne County Red Cross to raise awareness of the programs offered by New York State and the American Red Cross that are available for veterans and their families.

Senator Nozzolio Attends Annual Columbus Day Dinner at Geneva Sons of Italy

Geneva-Senator Mike Nozzolio recently spoke at the annual Columbus Day dinner at the Sons of Italy Lodge in Geneva where he recognized several individuals for their efforts to preserve the rich traditions, culture, and heritage of Italian Americans.  The Sons of Italy is the largest and oldest national organization for men and women of Italian heritage in the United States.

Seneca Falls – Senator Mike Nozzolio recently joined Amy Cram, family members and staff to officially open the newly completed Bill Cram Chevrolet Dealership building in Seneca Falls.  The project expands the dealership’s ability to serve its customers and creates new jobs and economic opportunities for Seneca County.

Hector – Senator Mike Nozzolio recently visited Bagley’s Poplar Ridge Vineyard in Hector.  Senator Nozzolio has been a strong supporter of the wine and grape industry in the Finger Lakes region.  Our local wineries are continuing to grow and prosper.  They draw thousands of visitors to the Finger Lakes region and create more and more jobs for local residents.

Senator Nozzolio and Senator Tom O'Mara Formally Establish the Seneca Lake Scenic Byway

Hector – Senator Mike Nozzolio recently joined New York State Senator Tom O’Mara and other local officials to formally designate the Seneca Lake Scenic Byway.  Senator Nozzolio congratulated the efforts of the Seneca Lake Scenic Byway Board of Directors on their nearly 10 year effort to establish this designation which recognizes the 18 mile stretch of Route 414 for the region’s scenic, historical, natural and recreational resources.

Geneva Post Office Corporal Steven Riccione Dedication

Geneva- New York State Senator Mike Nozzolio recently joined numerous federal, state, local government leaders and family to help rededicate the Geneva Post Office as the Corporal Steven Blaine Riccione Post Office.  Corporal Riccione served in Vietnam and was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart, Bronze Star with V for Valor and Oak Leaf Cluster for making the ultimate sacrifice and giving his life to save the lives of his fellow soldiers.
