After over a decade of hard work and years of planning, the Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery was officially dedicated on Saturday, July 30th. More than 1,200 people, including hundreds of veterans, attended the ceremony.
Music Director Andy Stobie, a popular local musician with a unique personal connection to the former Sampson Naval Base, will lead the two dozen members of the Seneca Falls Community Band as they perform at the dedication of the Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery on July 30th.

In a few short weeks, a lasting, permanent memorial honoring our Nation’s veterans will be established on the site the former Sampson Naval and Air Force Base where over a million sailors and airmen trained in preparation for battle to defend America.
