Geneva - Senator Mike Nozzolio recently presented a special New York State Resolution honoring Richard Guinan for his 29 years of meritorious service as Chairman of the Geneva Aid to the Handicapped Committee. The organization is committed to improving the quality of life for people with disabilities.
Auburn - Senator Mike Nozzolio recently presented members of the Throopsville Community Church Reach-out program and the Calvary Food Pantry with the food items collected during the Senator's annual community night of baseball at Falcon Park. The annual event is well attended and it provides needed food supplies for area food banks and pantries. Senator Nozzolio will be hosting a discussion later this summer on the growing needs of our local food pantries.
Auburn - Senator Mike Nozzolio recently joined members of the Auburn Purple Lancers to surprise Dr. Joe Karpinski with a special performance in honor of his 85th birthday. The newly reformed Auburn Purple Lancers gathered to perform a few selections in honor of Dr. Joe’s long-standing commitment to his community.

Seneca Falls - Senator Mike Nozzolio recently attended the annual Seneca Falls Convention Days Classic Car Show where he met with Bill Struzyk and had the opportunity to see Bill's 1948 Chevrolet AeroSedan.
Waterloo - Senator Mike Nozzolio recently joined members of the Korean War Veterans Association at the site of the new memorial recognizing our local veterans and their sacrifices. Senator Nozzolio provided the state assistance necessary for local Chapter # 1 to build the memorial.
Seneca Falls - Senator Mike Nozzolio recently honored Adriene Emmo of Seneca Falls with a New York State Liberty Award for her outstanding service to her community. The Liberty Award is one of the highest awards given by the New York State Senate.

Auburn- Senator Mike Nozzolio would like to invite you, your family and friends to the Auburn Doubledays game tonight at Falcon Park for the annual Senator Michael Nozzolio Night. All are encouraged to come out and show their support for the Doubledays as they take on the division rival State College Spikes. The gates open at 6:00 PM and the first pitch will be thrown out at 7:05 PM.
Tickets to the Doubledays game are complimentary, courtesy of Senator Nozzolio, who simply asks that you bring a canned good to support local food pantries.
Nearly 2,000 New Yorkers have already declared their support for State Senator Mike Nozzolio’s efforts to repeal the regressive new State Assessment Tax on utility bills. Senator Nozzolio has started an online petition calling upon Governor Paterson and Senate President Malcolm Smith to eliminate the tax, which was included in their disastrous 2009-10 State Budget.

Geneva - Members of the Geneva Red Wings baseball team recently presented Senator Mike Nozzolio with a special baseball bat signed by the entire team in recognition of his long-time commitment to the team and his efforts to keep the Red Wings in Geneva. The presentation took place during Senator Mike Nozzolio community night of baseball.

Senator Mike Nozzolio met with players from Webster just prior to the start of last Friday's competition between the Webster Yankees and the Geneva Red Wings. Each year Senator Nozzolio sponsors a community night of baseball in Geneva at McDonough Park. This year the Webster Yankees played the Geneva Redwings as a part of the New York Collegiate Baseball League competition.

Interlaken- Senator Mike Nozzolio announced today that that the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal has awarded $585,989 to the Village of Interlaken to construct 28 new affordable housing units. The new units will provide low-income housing to eligible seniors in Seneca County and the surrounding area.
“There is a great need for affordable senior housing in Interlaken and in Southern Seneca County,” Senator Nozzolio said, “Interlaken Senior Apartments is a great project that will provide quality and affordable housing for our seniors.”

Auburn- Members of the Owasco Lake Association will host the 2nd Annual Owasco Lake Day in conjunction with the Cayuga County Water Quality Management Agency on Wednesday, July lst, 2009 in the Emerson Park Pavilion. Members of the organization as well as number of state, local and county officials are expected to speak. The meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m.
