Waterloo- Calling our local libraries the window to the world, State Senator Michael F. Nozzolio today announced that he has secured a $100,000 State grant for restoration of the Waterloo Library. Senator Nozzolio was joined by the Board of Trustees of the Waterloo Library and Historical Society at the library, located at 31 East Williams Street in the Village.“Our libraries provide countless opportunities for everyone in the community, from our children and families to our adults and senior citizens,” said Senator Nozzolio.
Albany—State Senator Michael F. Nozzolio honored members of the Geneva Panthers football team for their victory in the 2006 Class B State Championship in a visit to the State Capitol today. Auburn – New York State Senator Michael F. Nozzolio today announced that data compiled by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Village of Groton confirm that phosphorous levels in Owasco Lake have drastically decreased since additional protection efforts began in August. Last summer, Senator Nozzolio contacted the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and worked to secure a signed consent order from the Village of Groton to reduce phosphorous discharge into Owasco Lake.
