Albany—State Senator Michael F. Nozzolio (R-Fayette) today announced that the Senate has protected in its budget New York State’s Snowmobile Trail Funds. Governor Pataki’s proposed plan would have transferred $2.5 million from New York State’s Snowmobile Trail Fund to the State’s general fund. “New York State offers exceptional winter recreation and some of the best snowmobiling in the county. I am very pleased that the Senate has agreed to ensure that the Snowmobile fund remains dedicated to trail maintenance and development,” said Senator Nozzolio.
