Senator Nozzolio strongly criticized the DEC’s recent draft Environmental Impact Statement on natural gas drilling, which recommends stricter environmental protection regulations in the regions surrounding Skaneateles Lake and the New York City watershed, while not providing the same protections for the watersheds of the other Finger Lakes.

On Saturday, July 30th, the Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery was officially dedicated. Before the dedication ceremony began, Senator Nozzolio spoke with Rear Admiral Richard West, who was Keynote Speaker, and Commander Tom Watt, who served as Master of Ceremonies.The cemetery had been scheduled to open May 21.
