Kril was recognized for his outstanding service to the United States Army, First Infantry Division, and for his dedication to the Astoria community, particularly in the area of veterans’ affairs. Kril received an honorable discharge from the army in 1970.
“I congratulate Jerry Kril for his decorated service to the United States Army and his ongoing commitment to helping the lives of his fellow veterans,” Gianaris said.
