Celestial Reopening of Williamsville's Space Lab Planetarium

Williamsville, NY - Senator Ranzenhofer joins the Williamsville School District and Williamsville Education Foundation for a ribbon-cutting to officially reopen the Space Lab Planetarium, marking the completion of $290,000 in renovations to the facility.

New, two-car electric vehicle charging station unveiled at Tops in Williamsville

Williamsville, NY- Senator Ranzenhofer joined represenatives from National Grid, NYSERDA and ChargePoint to unveil a new, two-car electric vehicle charging station at Tops Markets in Williamsville.  

 

"New York State has witnessed a a five-fold increase in the number of electric vehicles on its roadways in just the last year alone.  Now more than ever, an infrastructure of charging stations are necessary to support this growing part of our economy," said Ranzenhofer. "The public-private partnership between ChargePoint, National Grid and NYSERDA will provide another convenient charge to owners of electric cars in Williamsville and all across Western New York."

Local police agencies partner with Ranzenhofer to inspect car seats

Batavia, N.Y.– Representatives from the Genesee County Sheriff's Office, City of Batavia Fire Department and LeRoy Police Department assisted with Senator Mike Ranzenhofer's safety check for child car seats on Saturday morning. More than 20 car seats were inspected during the two-hour event.

Hundreds of free screenings completed at Family Health Fair

Amherst, N.Y.- Hundreds of free health screenings were conducted at Senator Ranzenhofer's Family Health Fair:

Around 250 residents participated in a glucose test and cholesterol screening
85 residents were screened for skin cancer  
78 PSA tests were given
85 bone density heel scans were completed 
145 retina scans were conducted
