Ranzenhofer’s Unyts community blood drive a success!

Batavia, N.Y. – State Senator Michael H. Ranzenhofer’s Unyts community blood drive at the Batavia Downs Casino on Saturday could help to save up to 66 lives.  In total, 22 residents donated blood during the five-hour blood drive.  Ranzenhofer sponsored the Unyts community blood drive as part of National Donate Life month.

Ranzenhofer outlines proposal to restore STAR rebate check program

Alpina Foods opens first yogurt plant in Batavia

Batava, N.Y. - Senator Ranzenhofer joins Alpina Foods' leadership, Empire State Development Corporation CEO Ken Adams, and other elected officials for a ground-breaking ceremony at the company's first manufacturing facility in the United States. The $20 million factory currently employes 30 people, with another 20 more jobs expected in the next few months.
