Ranzenhofer Holds First Aging Advisory Committee Meeting

Clarence, NY – Senator Michael H. Ranzenhofer hosted his first Aging Advisory Committee Meeting last Wednesday at the Clarence Senior Center.  The Committee, comprising of members from various sectors of the aging and elderly care industries in Erie and Genesee County, will meet two to three times per year to discuss State issues important to preserving the financial and economic stability of the aging population.

Amherst, N.Y.- Over 80 providers participated in Senator Ranzenhofer's 2013 Family Health Fair, offering dozens of free screenings and information on so many important health-related topics.

Amherst, N.Y. - Over 800 residents stopped by the Amherst Senior Center for Senator Ranzenhofer's 2013 Family Health Fair.  

Hundreds of free screenings completed at Family Health Fair

Amherst, N.Y.- Hundreds of free health screenings were conducted at Senator Ranzenhofer's Family Health Fair:

Around 250 residents participated in a glucose test and cholesterol screening
85 residents were screened for skin cancer  
78 PSA tests were given
85 bone density heel scans were completed 
145 retina scans were conducted
