Over 100 Clarence High School seniors in Government and Public Affairs classes heard from State Senator Mike Ranzenhofer in January. Senator Ranzenhofer talked about representing the 61st Senate District in the State Legislature and answered questions from students on issues such as funding for education, UB2020 legislation and ways to cut the State budget deficit.

Plans to hold meeting with rural school district leaders
New York State Senator Michael H. Ranzenhofer has invited the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Education, Senator John J. Flanagan, to travel to Batavia and meet with members of the Genesee Valley Educational Partnership on November 17 at the BEST Center at Genesee Community College.
The purpose of the meeting will be for rural school district leaders to share their concerns about education funding and mandates with Senator Flanagan.
Organizes meeting with superintendents to discuss education issues
Amherst, N.Y. – New York State Senator Michael H. Ranzenhofer has organized a meeting between school superintendents and the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Education, Senator John J. Flanagan, last Thursday. School district leaders had the opportunity to share their concerns regarding education funding and state mandates.
Senator Ranzenhofer expressed the importance of a dialogue before State Legislators return to Albany in January.
