Albany, N.Y. – Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and Senator Michael H. Ranzenhofer today announced that 64 businesses and not-for-profit organizations across Western New York will be awarded the first round of low cost power allocations under the ReCharge New York (RNY) program, a major statewide initiative for retaining and creating jobs and spurring capital investments by making low cost power available to New York State companies.

Albany, N.Y. – State Senator Michael H. Ranzenhofer (R, C, I – Amherst) has announced his opposition to a five-year extension of the 18-a surcharge as proposed in the Executive Budget.  The energy tax surcharge is scheduled to expire on March 31, 2014.
