Free Breast Cancer Screening On October 24th!

According to the National Cancer Institute, 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with Breast Cancer in their lifetime.October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month and it is very important that women take the time to get tested.  That is why Senator Boyle has partnered with Project Renewal and Scanvan to co-host a free Mammogram Screening for women forty and older who have not been tested within the last year.

Child Seat Safety Check At The Deer Park Fire Department

According to the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office, up to 72 percent of the child safety seats in cars on the road have serious defects or are improperly installed. At this event, specially trained Officers from the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department will demonstrate how to perform child car seat safety checks. The event will take place on Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 10am until 1pm at the Deer Park Fire Department located at 94 Lake Avenue in Deer Park.If you have any questions or concerns about the event, please contact Senator Boyle's District Office at (631) 665-2311.

Senator Phil Boyle will be hosting a Hurricane Preparedness Seminar on August 28th, to make sure local residents are fully prepared for any storm this hurricane season.

There will be an expert panel to share their knowledge and advice so that the residents of Suffolk County's South Shore will have all of the information necessary to 'weather any storm.'

Date: Saturday, August 24, 2013 10 am - 2 pm  Location: Shoprite of West Babylon 64 Route 109 West Babylon, NY 11704  Senator Boyle and Cadet Troop #2937 and Junior Troop #1230 will host a food drive at the Shoprite of West Babylon located at 64 Route 109. The event will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. The non-perishable food items collected at the event will be distributed to those in need by Long Island Cares, Inc.
