Kudos to Christine Quinn!

You should know that while the ongoing battle in New York City about the marine transfer station for New York’s garbage on East 91stt Street has been heating up, Council Speaker and Mayoral Candidate Christine Quinn has been holding her ground that the location for that garbage facility should not be changed.

For the Coors Light Beer Company: Any Press is Good Press

Once again, I am stating, for the record, along with Puerto Rican leaders throughout United States to express my outrage against the latest offensive Coors Light Beer ads that are plaguing our community in preparation of the 2013 National Puerto Rican Day Parade. The ads depict beer cans draped the Puerto Rican flag.

MY HUMBLE SUGGESTION FOR GOVERNOR ANDREW CUOMO

You should know that while the worst of another Great Depression seems to be over in New York State and our Governor is claiming to have balanced the budget on time for three consecutive years, nonetheless, New York continues to face difficult times and ways of finding revenue to fill its commitments.

Ever since U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara released the names of six Democratic Senators who were recorded by disgraced Senator Shirley Huntley, Albany has become an ambulatory casino in New York State.

“What happened before will happen again. What has been done before will be done again. There is nothing new under the sun.” (Ecclesiastes 1:9) You should know that those are the words of King Solomon, who according to the Bible, was far wiser than anyone who ruled Jerusalem before him.

Imitation is the Sincerest Form of Flattery

This proverbial expression dates from the early 19th Century, although versions of it that paraphrased the same though existed well before then.
