On Monday, February 23rd, Senator Felder was joined by Senator Marty Golden, Jim Cultrara Co-chair for the New York State Coalition for Independent and Religious Schools, and Jay Bove, Esq. to discuss the benefits of the Education Investment Incentives Act (EIIA, or Tuition Tax Credit) at a workshop for school administrators and principals.

The deadline to submit applications for the “Enhanced” STAR exemptions is fast approaching!! If you own your primary residence, turn 65 years of age at any time during 2015, and meet income requirements, you may qualify for the “Enhanced” STAR school property tax exemption. Regardless of when you turn 65 this year, you must apply before the application deadline to receive the enhanced savings.
