Honoring Volunteer fire Fighters and Emergency Rescue Personnel

Heroism in their daily deeds, that's what our volunteer fire fighters and emergency rescue personnel do. Whether they are in the right place at the right time, return to an emergency after their regular shift is through, or have to tell their families they'll be back as soon as they can, these selfless men and women deserve our gratitude and support. I was please to be able to share my appreciation at the Roosevelt Fire Company's dinner on Saturday night, with folks like Commissioner Ed Desmond and Chief Dan Nichols.
