Albany, N.Y., April 13—State Senator Tom O’Mara (R-C, Big Flats) was joined at the Capitol this week by two area high school students who were among 30 students from across the state participating in the 11th Annual “Students Inside Albany” conference sponsored by the League of Women Voters of New York State (LOWV).

Senate approves anti-bullying legislation

Albany, N.Y.—The New York State Senate has approved legislation co-sponsored by Senator Tom O’Mara (R-C, Big Flats) to put in place a comprehensive legislative package to address the problem of bullying in schools.

Albany, N.Y.—State Senator Tom O’Mara (R-C, Big Flats) and his Senate colleagues have launched a new, online Summer Reading Program.

Among other features, the site includes a recording journal, opportunities to share books with other family members and friends, and a series of popular summer reading lists.

Watkins Glen High School students, teachers meet with Senator O'Mara in Albany
