Senator O'Mara Asks Gun Owners To Help "Stamp Out Microstamping"

The New York State Assembly is once again proposing to require "microstamping" for all firearms owners in the state. But this year, they're trying a different tact, and are attempting to include "microstamping" in the state budget.

I agree with Senator Tom O'Mara that microstamping is an unnecessary infringement of the privacy and rights of law-abiding gun owners, and efforts to include it in the state budget amount to a sneak attack on local sportsmen and sportswomen, and all law-abiding gun owners. It also jeopardizes the fullest and fairest discussion over state aid for our schools, relief for our property taxpayers, and private-sector jobs for our workers.
