Senator Morahan names Hudson Valley Physician to State Panel on Immunization

Yesterday, New York State Senator Thomas P. Morahan held an educational forum at the Liberty Elementary School in Valley Cottage to mark the start of National Immunization Awareness Month. The Senator used the forum to remind parents getting their children ready for school, sending a student to college, healthcare-workers and seniors about the importance of keeping vaccinations update.

New Health Care Laws

I want to make you aware of two new laws that were recently signed that will help make health insurance more accessible for New York residents. I supported and voted for both of these measures during this year’s Senate session to help make health insurance more affordable for both families and young adults as our state recovers from the current economic crisis.

SENATOR STEPS FORWARD TO ENCOURAGE WALKERS & RUNNERS RAISE FUNDS FOR HOSPITAL

Senator Thomas P. Morahan joined several hundred enthusiastic participants at the recent Nyack Hospital 10K Run & 5K Walk, an event that raised funds for the hospital's Joint Replacement Center. "The Nyack Hospital staff, local sponsors and the community really came out in a big way to support their community hospital," said the Senator, who was invited to kick-off the event.
