Sen. Toby Ann Stavisky and Assemblywoman Grace Meng announce assistance for constituents applying for HEAP.  The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) is a federal progarm administered by the New York State Human Resources Adminisration that helps low income homeowners and renters pay bills for heating fuel, equipment and repairs. 

Senator Stavisky Meets with Charles B. Wang Community Health Center

On Monday, February 5th, State Senator Toby Stavisky met with representatives of the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center, which provides clinical service to 40,000 New Yorkers, including 16,000 in Flushing alone. She was presented with a book showing the growth of the Wang CHC over its 40 year history, during which she has been a strong champion and supporter.

A Message from Senator Stavisky Regarding Co-op and Condo Abatements

 

Dear Friend,

Many of you have contacted me and other legislators to express your concern about the expiration of the Co-op and Condo tax abatement.

In Albany, we have been focused on resolving this issue for many months, and I am delighted to inform you that last night the Senate passed legislation, 56-7, extending the tax abatement.
