Mr. Mukhametshin also toured SUNY Albany’s College of Nanoscale Sciences and Engineering to learn how Tatarstan can develop nanotechnology.
The New York State Senate unanimously passed Sen. Toby Ann Stavisky’s bill that would increase transparency of the Board of Trustees of the state and city universities and the Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC) by making resolutions and board actions available to the public seven days after the meeting.
The State Senate passed Sen. Toby Ann Stavisky’s bill, S1736B, ensuring the objectivity of SUNY and CUNY Trustees by limiting the appointments to those who do not work directly for the Governor or Mayor.
