The NY Daily News on Sen. Stavisky's bill strengthening penalties for repeat violators of orders of protection

Stavisky's legislation that strengthens the penalties for people who repeatedly violate orders of protection.  The legislation was inspired by a brutal murder in Flushing, NY, in January 2010 where the victim had sought multiple orders of protection against the man who eventually killed her.
