Senator Volker: Your Property Tax Rebate Is Coming This Fall

Senator Dale Volker today listed the actual amounts of property tax relief rebate checks that will be sent to area homeowners this Fall. The checks are the centerpiece of the Senate's effort to provide real property tax relief to homeowners this year.The values of homeowners' school property tax rebate checks were calculated by the state Department of Taxation and Finance, and vary based on the tax rates of individual school districts. Rebate checks will average between $156 to $181 in the four counties -- Erie, Livingston, Ontario and Wyoming -- represented by Senator Volker.

Senator Volker Secures $50,000 For The Gorham Free Library

Tax Cuts--the Untold Story

(ALBANY, NY) State Senator Dale M. Volker (R-I-C, Depew) today announced that the New York State Senate passed legislation to roll back New York's gas tax to provide some relief to strapped motorists faced with rising gas prices. The plan, which has been agreed to by the State Assembly, will save motorists up to $450 million a year and immediately lower the cost of gasoline in New York by at least four cents per gallon, and will take effect June 1 pending Governor Pataki’s approval.
