SENATOR KRUGER QUESTIONS SCHOOLS CHANCELLOR ON NYC SCHOOL GOVERNANCE

             During a joint budget hearing in Albany on Tuesday, Senator Carl Kruger, Chair of the Finance Committee, heard testimony from New York City Schools Chancellor Joel Klein and followed up the testimony with questions about school governance and parental involvement in the schools.

             Sen. Kruger, a leading advocate for education, is co-chair of the newly formed Select Committee on New York City School Governance.
