Video: Ranzenhofer comments on Williamsville East High School's national award for arts program
State Senator Michael H. Ranzenhofer has honored Williamsville East High School with a Joint Legislative Resolution for being named by the College Board as the Middle States Regional winner and the National winner of the annual Award for Excellence and Innovation in the Arts.
The school submitted the Collaborations and Connections program for consideration. The Collaborations and Connections program, founded in 2000, is built around the work of a guest poet whose own work inspires students to collaborate on poetry, music, dance and the visual arts. The yearlong program brings together students from Buffalo and Williamsville to create a truly community-oriented experience.
Williamsville East High School will be recognized at the College Board’s National Forum in October.
