    As a member of Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Mandate Relief Redesign Team, I have been meeting with municipal officials, school boards, labor leaders and other stakeholders to find ways to reinvent the system of unfunded or underfunded State mandates that burden local governments and increase taxes. Our report is due to the Governor on March 1st, and I need your ideas on ways to “redesign” our government and provide meaningful relief for taxpayers.
     
    Please submit your comments to me about mandate relief below, so that I can take your suggestions back to the Mandate Relief Redesign Team and Governor Andrew Cuomo. This is an issue that affects every taxpayer in Westchester County and the State of New York, so you deserve an opportunity to have your voice heard.
