The Latino Center on Aging is inviting our community to a series of workshops geared to help Spanish speaking elderly apply for Food Stamps.

As you may know, the Latino elderly have the smallest rate of participation in the Food Stamps program, even though 2 out of 3 Latino seniors retired under or near the poverty line, which translates into over 200,000 Latino seniors in NYC alone.  That's why the Latino Center on Aging is conducting an Outreach Project to help Spanish speaking elderly get critically needed Food Stamps.
