Free Supply Distribution Program for Hurricane Sandy Victims- Massapequa
Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) and Long Island Cares will be sponsoring a free supply distribution program in Massapequa to help residents affected by Hurricane Sandy.
The program will take place on Friday, January 18th at Anchor Park, located near the corner of Admiral Road and Spar Lane in South Massapequa, between 11 am and 2 pm.
At the program, Long Island Cares will distributing the following items free of charge to families who have been affected by Hurricane Sandy:
• Cleaning supplies
• Protective masks
• Trash bags
• Heaters
• Blankets
• Water
• Non-perishable food
• Pet food
• Plastic storage bins
Long Island Cares will serve individuals on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. No appointments are required.
