Naloxone Training

On average, 130 Americans die every day from an opioid overdose. To combat this crisis, our community must work together to help save lives. Our next free naloxone training in Rockland will be at 6:00 p.m. at Rockland Community College's Student Union Room 3214.  The training will teach you how to recognize an overdose, what to do during an overdose, and how to administer naloxone, a medicine, which reverses the effect of an opioid overdose. After completing the training, participants will be certified to administer naloxone and will be given a free naloxone rescue kit. To attend, please RSVP by contacting my office at (845) 623-3627.
