FREE STORM-RELATED LEGAL ASSISTANCE: FEBRUARY 28, 2013
On Thursday, February 28th, Senator Skelos will be sponsoring a free legal services program to assist individuals and families with storm-related legal issues. The program will take place between the hours of 2pm and 7pm at the East Rockaway Public Library located at 477 Atlantic Avenue in East Rockaway.
NYLAG attorneys and staff will be available to provide free legal assistance to local residents affected by superstorm Sandy on matters including:
- FEMA claims
- Insurance claims
- Storm related consumer matters
- Other storm related legal issues
Individuals should bring with them any documentation related to their situation that may be useful to the NYLAG attorneys and staff in providing assistance.
