Senator Skelos' Free Community Blood Pressure Screening

I am pleased to announce that I will be hosting a FREE Community Blood Pressure Screening in partnership with South Nassau Communities Hospital on Thursday, May 22, 2014. This free program will take place from 1pm to 4pm at the Tally Ho Firehouse (on the corner of Merrick Road and Horton Avenue) in Lynbrook.

In addition to free blood pressure screenings, the nurses will also be checking cholesterol levels, in addition to weight and BMI measurements. They will also offer a Colorectal Cancer Screening Kit to anyone interested.

There is no charge to participate in this event and no appointments are necessary. If you have a friend or know someone who would benefit from this program, please feel free to pass this information along to them.
