Senior ID Program- Port Washington

Senator Jack M. Martins (R-Mineola) and Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano will be sponsoring a free Senior ID Card Program in Port Washington.

The program will be held from 12 pm to 3 pm on Tuesday, September 2nd at the Port Washington Library, located at 1 Library Drive in Port Washington. All Nassau County residents ages 60 and over are eligible to participate and receive a free senior ID card. No appointments are necessary.

The program allows seniors to obtain a free wallet-sized ID card which includes their photo and personal contact information (name, address, phone number, date of birth) along with an emergency contact name and phone number which could be useful to emergency responders. Seniors can carry the card in their wallet so that first responders will know who to contact in the event of an emergency where the senior is unable to communicate with them.

Residents who would like more information about the free Senior ID Card program at the Port Washington Library on September 2nd can call Senator Martins’ office at 516-746-5924.
