Senator James Sanders Jr. Returns with the Queens Carnival 2022
State Senator James Sanders Jr. will host a Launch Party for the 4th Annual Queens Carnival!
The Senator’s Launch Party will include an afternoon with costumes, island food, and music. It will begin at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the DredSurfer Grill, conveniently located on the boardwalk at Beach 17th Street in Far Rockaway, New York.
The annual Queens Carnival, formally known as the Rockaway Caribbean Carnival, celebrates a broader understanding and deeper appreciation of Caribbean culture within the melting pot of Queens. Join us for music, dancing, food, and more! The Carnival was such a success prior to the pandemic and our organizers are excited to have an even better turnout this year with many surprises!
The Queens Carnival Parade in the Rockaways main event will occur at 11 a.m. on August 27, 2022, starting at Mott Avenue and Beach 21st Street and ending on the boardwalk at Beach 17th Street.
