Senior Scam Prevention Forum

Please join me for a special forum designed to help seniors learn how to protect their identity, presented by the New York Department of State Division of Consumer Protection.  Unfortunately, seniors are often the targets of scam operators, and they need to be on guard for scams, and to be aware of ways to keep them from being victims of unscrupulous marketers and solicitors.

The Forum takes place on Thursday, September 28th, from 10:00 to 11:00 am, at the Franklin Square Library (19 Lincoln Road, Franklin Square).

Attendees will learn how to protect themselves and their identities from the following:

  • Credit & Debit Card Scams
  • IRS Imposter Scams
  • Phone Solicitation
  • Funeral Notification Scams
  • Sweepstakes Scams
  • Medical Device Scams
  • Grandparent Scams
  • Jury Duty Scams
  • Mail Fraud
  • Computer Phishing
  • And more

The event is FREE, but reservations are required. Those wishing to attend may call my Community Office at 516-739-1700, or visit my website: www.kemphannon.com to reserve a seat directly.

I urge anyone who is interested in learning more about this to attend.
