Free Health Screenings in Central Brooklyn

Senator Parker hosts the annual “Check Your Health” Day

Brooklyn, NY-   Join State Senator Kevin Parker on Check Your Health Day, the fifth event in the annual six-week free summer events series.   Senator Parker partners with MetroPlus, Kings County Hospital, SUNY Downstate, Visiting Nurse Services of New York, New York State Department of Health Division of HIV Health Care, AIDS Institute and American Italian Cancer Foundation to assist Central Brooklyn residents with an array of free preventative health services including blood pressure and diabetes screenings, in addition to free mammograms for New York City female residents 40 and older who have not had a screening in the last 12 months.
