Senator Pam Helming hosted an Informational Forum on Lyme and Tick-Borne Diseases at Finger Lakes Community College in Canandaigua on Tuesday, Sept. 26. The forum featured speakers Dr. Matt Frye, Dr. Robert Ostrander, Mary Beer, Holly Ahern, and Dr. Cassandra Guarino who provided information about tick identification, tick bite prevention, Lyme disease and co-infection awareness, impact on pets and livestock, and health resources that are available for individuals who have been bitten by a tick.
